We are looking for a passionate Lead– Occupational Safety who will join our team at Human Resources Directorate in Beko Corporate.

What awaits you in this role?

• Advise the departments on H&S law and H&S issues,


• Take an proactive role in solving problems related to Occupational Safety Processes,


• Organize and report OHS risk assessment studies,


• Organize and implement occupational safety trainings for employees,


• Prepare and revise emergency action plans, coordinate emergency drills,


• Develop proactive measures to prevent occupational accidents and incidentsSupport the Production Engineering Teams for preparing the Technical Specifications according to the Occupational Safety Law and Regulations,


• Follow up existing or needed developments and improvements with Production Engineering and Production Teams,Adopt and sustain an occupational safety culture in the workplace


• Develop projects that will increase occupational safety awareness among employers and employees,


• Organize the corrective and preventive actions before/during and after the incidents, accidents or audits,


• Prepare the necessary documentation and reporting before/during and after the audits,


• Review and revise OHS procedures if needed,Ensure that the requirements of ISO 45001 OHS Management System standards are met,


• Evaluate and report the Occupational Safety Performance of Contractor Companies,Organize OHS Board Meetings and report and follow up on the decisions taken.

The position is located in Çayırova, Istanbul.

 How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or other related fields,


• Occupational Safety Expert Certificate – Class A (or Class B)by Ministry of Labour and Social Security


• Minimum 3 years of experience in Health&Safety,


• Machinery Safety or Process Safety ProcessesExcellent verbal and written skills in Turkish and English,


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and H&S Programmes,


• Following and adopting the market trends and new digital and AI technologies,


• Outside the box thinking ability,Open to innovation culture,


• Flexible and open to new perspectives,


• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,


• Knowing what empathy really means,


• Being open to communications always our priority.
