What to expect from Legal Counsel (Jr.) position at VavaCars

• Follow up and answer the legal correspondences and requests,
• Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation and the regulatory environment as to pertains to used car trading,
• Liaise with the authorities to ensure that the Company is in compliance with the relevant legal framework,
• Anticipate and proactively provide legal advice to all departments of the Company in daily activities in all aspects of law in order to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and to minimize risks,
• Draft, review and negotiate various legal documents,
• Assistance in preparation and negotiations of standard contracts,
• Initiate and follow up of legal proceedings where necessary,
• Provide training programs to the employees on legal and compliance matters.

What you will bring

• Law degree from a reputable law school with bar admission
• 1-2 years of experience in corporate law firms and/or as in-house counsel
• Strong communication skills to discuss goals, challenges, and progress.
• Excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task multiple projects and initiatives effectively and prioritize work are essential.
• Highly capable of meeting strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Have the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
• Highly motivated, goal/detail oriented
• Male candidates shall have no military liabilities.
• Fluent in written and verbal English
