Description

FMC HR is looking for a Plant Manager for our German client manufacturing electrical components in Dilovası. We are seeking a versatile person who has a sound technical know-how to be responsible for the holistic management of the site and possesses a commercial understanding to supervise the project management. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry with a focus on cable assembly and control cabinets as well as in the commercial control of operational processes to connect technical and economic aspects with each other.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for the smooth running and growth of the site taking technical and commercial aspects into account
• Plan, organize and monitor all operational processes to achieve our high quality standards, production and financial targets
• Lead and motivate the technical and commercial teams ensuring efficient collaboration between purchasing & logistics, production, project management, quality and distribution departments
• Implement lean management principles, process optimization and cost management for continuous improvement of operational processes
• Execute budget planning, control, and monitor cost developments
• Closely cooperate with other locations of the group companies
• Realize and follow the operational and strategic goals, reporting to the GM in Germany

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• University degree in engineering
• At least five years of professional experience in a managerial position in cable assembly and/or control cabinet construction sectors
• Sound knowledge of lean management, process and quality optimization, production planning as well as cost and budget management
• Excellent command of Turkish and English is a must, German is a plus
• Strong leadership skills, communication skills and team orientation
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and willingness to make decisions
• High self-motivation, assertiveness, resilience, and hands-on approach
