If you\u2019re curious and love innovating to solve new challenges, join us! \n \nThis position reports to the Engineering Manager, R\u0026D Aftermarket Services, and is part of the R\u0026D Aftermarket Services team.\n\nThe role works closely with the EMEA Services organization on several defined R\u0026D projects, with sales impact ranging from \u20ac100K to \u20ac2M.\n\nThe Services \u0026 Aftermarket EMEA business has a strong growth strategy supported by Eaton\u2019s extensive installed base of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage systems, built over more than 60 years across the region. In line with Eaton\u2019s sustainability objectives\u2014and the broader global market shift toward sustainable solutions\u2014many legacy products are currently transitioning to more environmentally friendly technologies. For example, oil\u2011insulated switchgear is progressively being replaced by vacuum\u2011insulated alternatives. \nThis position is an on\u2011site role based in Sincan, Ankara.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nDevelop standardized mechanical retrofit design solutions for Aftermarket Low Voltage and Medium Voltage systems. \nDefine technical specifications and create concept design options. \nValidate design concepts through engineering calculations and simulations. \nPerform detailed mechanical design and prepare final design documentation. \nParticipate in laboratory testing and certification activities. \nRelease finalized and certified designs for production. \nCollaborate within an international R\u0026D team across multiple countries. \nCoordinate with laboratories, grid companies, EMEA Country Services Unites CSUs, production facilities, and suppliers. \nContribute to building and maintaining a knowledge management and learning platform. \nWork on site in Ankara while collaborating remotely with teams in the Netherlands and India.\n\n \n \n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nMaster\u2019s or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering. \nExperience in the electrical industry preferred. \n \n\n\n## Skills:\n\nStrong knowledge and experience with 3D CAD and PDM tools, as well as mechanical design within product development. \nUnderstanding of DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) principles. \nStrong analytical and problem\u2011solving skills. \nAccountable, creative, and aligned with Eaton\u2019s Leadership Model behaviors. \nDemonstrates strong drive, ownership of tasks, and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines. \nEffective team player with the ability to collaborate across disciplines. \nEagerness to learn and apply Eaton processes, project methodologies, and engineering tools. \nAbility to work effectively in a diverse, matrix organization with international teams in EMEA, India, and China. \nWillingness to travel to the Netherlands for up to one month when needed. \nSelf\u2011starter with a high degree of independence and ownership. \nExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nWhat we offer: \n\n\n * Competitive compensation and benefits package\n * Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\n * We make your aspirations matter \u2013 Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible\n * We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term \u2013 not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton UniversityWe make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people\u2019s lives and the environment through power management technologies.\n * We make your wellbeing matter \u2013 We put your health and safety first.
