Job Description

• Develop and monitor critical rotating equipment maintenance strategies.
• Ensure adherence to advanced standards for critical rotating equipment.
• Provide expert assistance in planned maintenance activities.
• Oversee training plans for field maintenance and operations supervisors.
• Offer insights into maintenance planning, execution, scope development, and expediting.
• Interpret and enforce industry standards (ASME, ISO, API, etc.).
• Initiate and participate in risk assessments, non-utilised actor identification and management, root cause analysis, etc.
• Regularly monitor and interpret rotating equipment data to support a preventive and proactive maintenance approach.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10 Years Experience: The candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of direct experience in providing expertise and support for large turbo machinery
• Expertise in Rotating Equipment Standards: Demonstrated proficiency in applying various rotating equipment standards such as ASME, API, ISO, and other relevant standards is essential. The candidate should have a deep understanding of these standards and their practical application in the field.
• Troubleshooting and Reliability Improvement: Proven ability to troubleshoot issues with rotating equipment and implement reliability improvement processes. This includes diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Effective Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for collaborating effectively with diverse teams, including craftsmen, vendors, and professionals from various engineering disciplines. The candidate should be able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
• Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze complex problems related to rotating equipment and devise innovative solutions is vital. The candidate should be adept at interpreting data, identifying patterns, and making data-driven decisions to optimize equipment performance and maintenance strategies.
