Senior Consultant - Credit Risk

Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Consultant for its Istanbul office. The selected candidate will support project managers and join teams specialized in risk management, operating on consulting projects for the main banking and financial intermediaries groups.

MAIN TASKS:

The successful candidate will join a specialized team based in İstanbul, operating within credit risk modelling and advisory projects for financial intermediaries. The senior consultant will support the project managers in the management of the activities relating to the following areas:

• Development and implementation of risk parameter estimation (PD, LGD, EAD), satellite and ECL (IFRS 9) models;
• Development and implementation of portfolio models (Credit VaR) and stress testing;
• Advanced Analytics

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A degree or master's degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics or Engineering coupled with sound quantitative knowledge is required.

At least 3-5 years working experience in credit risk modelling is required.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Proficiency in both verbal and written English is a must
• Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
• Assertive and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated driver of performance
• Time management skills to meet the required deadlines
• Practical application of statistical modelling techniques
• Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software or other data mining skills
• Proficiency and hands-on experience in coding with Python and / or R.
• Hands-on academic and/or industry experience on one or more of the frameworks and libraries: pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn is nice to have
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills e.g. excel, word, PowerPoint and access
