As REED Turkey, we are looking for a " Senior Operational Database Engineer " with below requirements for our client in Software sector.

Qualifications

• Preferably graduated from the Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mathematics of universities and from the Master's Degree Areas of these departments,
• Min. 4 years operational database experience
• Have knowledge of the Windows Operating System
• Have basic Network knowledge
• Experienced in RDBMS (Preferably MS SQL Server),
• He has mastered the subject of T-SQL at a level that can guide software and reporting teams,
• Master the topic of SQL Server Features and Administration,
• He is well versed in SQL HADR (Especially AlwaysOn, who has implemented Failover Cluster, Log Shipping, and Replication projects),
• Master the topic of Performance Monitoring,
• Preferably with an MCSA certificate,
• Master the topic of SQL Server Analysis Services,
• Preferably have knowledge about open source databases (Mongodb, Postgresql, Couchbase, MySQL, Redis, etc.).
• ATTUNITY dominates DWH Applications such as Vertica.
• Informatica is well versed in DWH Processes.

Job Description

• To provide the management of Database and DWH systems in the areas of duties and responsibilities of the team.
• Solving problems related to database and DWH systems.
• To ensure the continuity of the specified SLA values for database and DWH systems.
• To make improvements in performance and manageability on existing databases by working together with software development teams.
• To take an active role in patch, version, service pack tasks that will be applied to databases.
• To ensure regular reporting of database matrices.
• To make database installation and configurations.
• To support other teams in ETL and DWH Processes, Deployment, Performance Tuning.
• To take part in POC and Test activities.
• To carry out their duties in accordance with the ITIL processes.
• To carry out the operational processes related to the areas of duty, to communicate with the vendors.
