• With growing operation portfolio, they are growing in employee number and will be commissioning a new facility located next to the existing one located in Bergama / İzmir

Job Description

• The Quality Engineer is responsible for closely monitoring various manufacturing processes, including cutting, welding, and bending operations.
• While primary expertise in cutting, welding, and bending is required, a secondary knowledge of machining may be beneficial.
• The engineer should be proficient in using quality tools such as root cause analysis and FMEA methods to analyze and improve quality.
• Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and nonconformity reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
• Review customer specifications and requirements to ensure that production processes align with these standards. Address any discrepancies or customer-specific quality concerns.
• Utilize quality control tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), control charts, and Pareto analysis to maintain and improve product quality.
• Participate in the approval process for new products or product changes, ensuring that they meet quality and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

• Proficiency in English is essential due to the need to communicate with colleagues and adhere to standards and specifications.
• The role requires effective collaboration with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Candidates should have experience in serial production, particularly in firms like the automotive industry, steel based manufacturers etc.
• Familiarity with obtaining initial product approvals and managing serial production is essential.
• A strong understanding of steel and its properties is important.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methods is a key requirement.
• Candidates who understand where to intervene and what to control within the context of nonconformity management will adapt more quickly to the role.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001, is advantageous. Knowledge of how to implement and maintain a QMS can contribute to the role's success.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and safety requirements is critical for ensuring product compliance and quality.
