Shift Engineer

Manage the department assigned by the Operations Manager throughout the shift.The primary function of this role is to direct the production process to achieve goals within the shift. Report root causes and actions for output that falls short of targets. Ensure compliance with occupational safety rules. Raise awareness among group members to prevent dangerous situations and accidents. Check and report information passed from the previous day or shift. Observe processes and confirm production starts smoothly; if issues arise, prepare an action plan. Control changes in process parameters within responsible departments. Monitor production performance, guide implemented measures, and develop alternative plans. Check and ensure periodic control forms in departments are up to date. Evaluate production results. Coordinate with other departments regarding daily production allocations and numbers. Plan elements and processes during changes in production cycle speed. Ensure correct operation of quality systems according to quality logic and guide employees. Monitor personnel issues closely. Identify and resolve group disturbances by maintaining strong relationships. Follow Kaizen activities and encourage participation. Set departmental targets based on those established by senior management and monitor progress. Graduated from Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related department at a university 2-3 years' experience in a similar position Familiar with SAP systems Strong analysis and reporting skills Excellent negotiation abilities Effective problem-solving and analytical skills Fluent in spoken and written English
