Assists in receiving, handling and dispatching goods in the warehouse and maintaining records according to defined standards. Receives incoming shipments, checks for damage and for discrepancies between shipments and invoices. Operates computer to electronically guide order picks and check items off picking list. Prepares the necessary documentation and maintains records associated with the receipt of products into a store and/or the dispatch of finished products. Maintains warehouse housekeeping in accordance to documented standards. Processes any returned goods as per documented procedure. Examines for conformity with returns acceptance criteria. Completes non-conformance reports as per documented procedure when required. Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, procedure and quality system. Recommends actions to prevent the occurrence of these problems. Ensures that all activities comply with ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System. May have responsibility for labeling product or adding/changing DFUs as required by the local market. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
