Job Description - Supply Planning Manager


Responsibilities

  • Manage end to end short term supply planning process (0-16 weeks), review any impacts on supply planning. (e.g. service & inventory levels, production calendars, lead times, min runs, etc.)
  • Responsible for setting and achieving annual inventory business plan, setting safety stock levels, managing inventory tracking processes and reconciliation (i.e. actual vs. plan), and identifying/implementing inventory reduction/increasement opportunities which has high impact at cashflow or Service Level.
  • Build the BU picture on the supply network, including supply constraints management and proposing potential scenarios.
  • Represent SP team on the relevant IBP platforms and facilitate short-term Supply Control meeting.
  • Track break down calendars for each plant, calculate capacity loss and negotiate on calendar according to demand volumes.
  • Manage capacity constraints, leading pre-builds before shutdowns & maintenance & project transitions.
  • Closely follow up service level agenda. Proactively work on it to achive the target and highligt in related forums if there will be any service risk. I nvestigate the causes of service loss and work closely with the planning team to ensure we meet the standards.
  • Enable supply for the commercial change agenda. Review projects to provide insight on feasibility & potential capacity, service, cost & raw material impacts to execute supply chains set up for NPD.
  • Dedicate to NPD innovation volume, weekly&montly supply&demand balance check with demand, raw material teams. Supporting gate & change calendars in terms of Supply Planning view.
  • Actively monitor and prepare analysis & insights to improve process capability with ensuring the businesses evolving needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably Engineering.
  • Fluency in English & Turkish
  • 5-7 years of experience in SC,
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management are highly important to build close relationships with internal team & other departments.
  • Experience required in team management and planning.
  • Customer oriented. Understanding basic Marketing, Sales, Production.
  • Proven strong thinking/ problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately.
  • Project management skills and/or familiarity with PepsiCo’s stage gate process for New Product Introductions is an asset.
  • Experience with planning tools.
