Technical Analyst & PO

The position in a nutshell:

As a Technical Analyst & Product Owner at finbyte, at finbyte, you will be the driving force behind the success of our web and mobile applications, delivering ground breaking experiences for our key clients. You will be responsible for driving the development and evolution of backend systems, software architectures, and API services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, designers, and stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for backend systems and API services, aligning with business goals and customer needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for product development.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams and process flows.

• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, technical complexity, and customer feedback.

• Lead the design and development of RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and integration solutions, fostering scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Work closely with UX/UI designers and frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences and data-driven solutions.

• Act as a liaison between technical teams, product management, and stakeholders, providing regular updates, demos, and feedback loops.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and clients, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Technical Analyst, Technical Product Owner, or similar role in software development.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of software development practices, user stories, user flows, and agile methodologies.

• Strong technical background with expertise in backend systems, software architectures, and API design as well as familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

• Finance Technology (FinTech) domain knowledge, Finance and/or Banking industry experience is highly preferred

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and drive results.

• Thrive in ambiguity within a dynamic, globally focused environment.

• Demonstrate fluency in English.

• Proven experience in completing end-to-end integration of complex systems is a plus.
