Technical Supplier Business Development Manager

Our Avnet Silica team in Turkey is looking for experienced Technical Supplier Business Development manager! We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead supplier development initiatives, identify new opportunities, and optimize our supplier network. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our sourcing strategy, enhancing supplier performance, and contributing to our long-term success in a fast-paced, global environment.

What You Will Do:

• Direct and manages the supplier business plan and implementation process throughout the organization
• Align goals and objectives of supplier with the company to ensure mutual goals and objectives are achieved.
• Determine, monitor and recommend plans for the supplier, company business relationship on a tactical and strategic level.
• Participate in supplier business reviews providing appropriate data and engaging in resolving issues.
• Identify and drive new supplier opportunities with particular emphasis on the development of new services that blend unique supplier resource/capability along with service/capability to create a unique value proposition.
• Support cross functional communication with the company's product groups in price negotiations and market knowledge.
• Responsible for the management of activities and programs that will drive the supplier’s pro-forma performance in an effort to achieve Avnet's financial goals.
• Drive demand creation and design-in activities for FPGA and embedded solutions
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of design opportunities
• Engage with customers at system and architecture level
• Perform analysis and reports of various program impact for the supplier.

Key Skills Required

• Typically 5+ years experience Semiconductor distribution / supplier / OEM FAE, Application Engineering, or Technical Sales roles
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar
• Understanding of:
  • FPGA architectures (Xilinx preferred)
  • Embedded systems and system design
  • High-speed systems and data processing
• Proven experience in design-in and business development activities  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
• Experience in electronics/semiconductor/distribution industry.
• Possess expert knowledge of customer needs, products and complexity of business services.
