A Day in the Life

Are you passionate about providing advanced technical and clinical expertise in a highly specialized healthcare environment? Join Medtronic as a Technical Therapy Consultant within our Aortic business and become a trusted partner to physicians and healthcare teams in delivering innovative endovascular therapies. In this role, you will leverage your technical knowledge, procedural expertise, and consultative approach to support complex EVAR and TEVAR procedures, provide case planning and sizing guidance, and help optimize patient outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the growth and adoption of innovative Aortic solutions across Turkey.

This field-based role is designed for candidates located in Ankara, Türkiye, and requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory to provide on-site technical support, clinical consultation, and customer education. Working closely with physicians, catheterization laboratory teams, and commercial colleagues, you will serve as the primary technical expert for the Aortic portfolio, supporting pre-procedural planning, case execution, product training, and therapy adoption initiatives. The position offers extensive exposure to advanced endovascular technologies, continuous professional development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both customer success and patient care.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• In this role you will have the responsibility to achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified region by supporting Aortic (EVAR-TEVAR) cases including sizing & planning report and giving technical consultancy in Cath-Lab. 
• Provide technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions and customers through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
• Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team.
• Ensure the highest level of product knowledge is attained and maintained.
• Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand.
• Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follows up on any missing stock.
• Retrieving all expiring products from field locations and returning to the warehouse prior to expiry.
• All activities must be performed in compliance with the local Quality System.
• Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device industry and/or working in hospital environment. 
• Former experience of working with CVS, IR & IC.
• Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy. 
• Familiar with Cathlab environment: Sterilization and radiation protocols. 
• Flexibility, dedication, hands-on working approach with ability to present technical know-how.
• English knowledge (B2 and above).
• No travel restrictions.
• Holding KDE and STE certificates from TCESIS.

Minimum 3 years of experience of working as a technical consultant for Aortic (EVAR-TEVAR) and/or interventional products would be highly advantageous in this position.
