Test Specialist

• Preparing test cases in compliance with the requirements and analyses
  
• Performing functional or non -functional tests
  
• Performing repetitive tests such as smoke and regression
  
• Reporting the status of test executions regularly
  
• Tracking and reporting issues
  
• Supporting user acceptance testing processes
  
• Preparation, coordination and follow -up of test plans
  
• Working for continuous improvement in the maturity of test processes
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Test/Quality Engineering or similar position
  
• Experience in/knowledge of JIRA platform and agile methodologies
  
• Experience in/knowledge of the tools like SOAP UI and Postman
  
• Experience in QA and software testing – test case planning, test case preparation, test execution, defect management & defect resolution
  
• Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in the software development lifecycle
  
• Experience in test management tools such as XRAY, TestRail
  
• Experience in/knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, JMeter, etc.)
  
• Experience in Java application development preferred
  
• Experience in/knowledge of unit test development preferred
  
• Holding ISTQB test specialist certificates preferred
  
• Analytical thinking and detail -oriented
  
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills
  
• Open to learning and development, initiative -taker
  
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
