TESTING PURPOSES-VSM Support Engineer

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented VSM Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves close collaboration with the VSM Manager to drive the deployment of standardized processes, improvement actions, and continuous improvement (CI) tools across our organization. The candidate will be expected to support all functions across the VSM organisation, including Production, Testing, Production/Material Planning, Order Management and Engineering. 

• Support VSM Manager: Collaborate closely with the VSM Manager to implement and execute strategies for deploying Value Stream Mapping (VSM) processes, standardized workflows, and CI tools throughout the organization. Assist with translation from Turkish to English as required, in scenarios such as: roundtable meetings with employees, 121 sessions with direct reports, AEM meetings, daily Gembas, etc. 
• Process Deployment: Assist in designing, documenting, and deploying standardized processes, procedures, and work instructions that align with VSM principles and contribute to improved operational efficiency and quality.
• CI Tool Implementation: Facilitate the selection, implementation, and integration of Continuous Improvement (CI) tools, software, and technologies that support VSM initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret process data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure alignment and engagement in VSM initiatives.
• Project Management: Assist in managing VSM-related projects, tracking progress, identifying roadblocks, and ensuring timely completion of improvement actions.
• Problem Solving: Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify the underlying causes of process inefficiencies and collaborate with teams to develop effective solutions.
• Support Shopfloor Management: Provide support to shopfloor management to ensure smooth operations and adherence to VSM principles.
• Production Planning Operational Responsiblities: Support production planning engineer in the daily operations of scheduling orders, converting planned orders to production orders in SAP, and maintaining the master scheduling files. 
• Order Management Backup: Provide back-up support to the order management team, processing orders, extending part-codes to Hengelo plant, and following their engineering status, in times of need. 
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, Science degree is preferable).
• 0-3 years experience working within manufacturing environment.
   

Skills:

• ERP knowledge (SAP).
• CI/Lean Manufacturing Knowledge.
• Strong organizational, presentation, communication and time management skills, results driven.
• Ability to work within an international, culturally diverse and matrix-based organisation..
• Fluent in Turkish & English.
