Turkey - Cruise Executive

Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cruise Executive to join our team in Turkey. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Organizing all operational activities with ports and other parties before vessel arrival.


• Providing necessary documents for authorities & vessel.


• Monitoring crew and passenger movements during operations, solving determined problems correctly and timely.


• Ensure to complete all arrangements in accordance with local regulations & in the frame of ISS work policy, ISO requirements and HSSE.

Location: Istanbul, Turkey (Hybrid)

Key Accountabilities:

• Completing all custom/port clearance formalities prior of vessel arrival.


• Organizing crew movements in Turkey with continuous monitoring of changes that being advised by vessel/travel teams of lines.


• Following hotel accommodation requests of crew travel.


• Arranging visa process for embarking/disembarking crew members which seems not visa free as per regulations.


• Handling exceptional passport issues which are being occurred during passport check for crew and passengers.


• Organizing health services in emergency (ambulance, hospital).

Who you are:

• Previous experience in maritime/shipping industry.


• Educated to degree level (a degree relevant maritime and/or Masters degree would be an asset).


• Fluent in English and Turkish with excellent communications skills, both oral and written. 


• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel.


• Ability to work flexible hours and travel.


• Holder of a Valid Port Agency License and a Valid Driving License.


• Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.


• Additional European languages would be an advantage.


• Use of software and reporting tools (desirable).


• Knowledge of customs and immigrations procedures (desirable).
