Our client is operating in home improvement retail sector.

Job Description

• Responsible for the overall warehouse operational activities and performance
• Reporting to the Management on every aspect of the warehouse operations & performance
• Produce reports and statistics regularly for reporting to the Management.
• Manage the expenses align to the annual budget on every aspect of the warehouse operations
• Ensure warehouse operate in compliance with the legislation's requirements
• Responsible for efficient space utilization based on the stock forecast and future expansion plans
• Enforce optimal operational policies and procedures for the warehouse
• Getting involved in team recruitment
• Conduct Annual Appraisal and setting the KPI for the teamProvide feedback to the supplier for packaging and shipment improvement
• Liaise with suppliers and transport companies for improvement in all warehousing aspects
• Manage the warehouse expenses and always seeking options for cost competitiveness
• Manage inventory and reconcile with system for any variances and improvements opportunity
• Identifying the areas of improvements and conduct training for the team
• Implementing new procedures for improvements of every aspects in the warehouse operations

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 12 years working experience in Warehouse and Logistics operations management
• Minimum 6 years of people management experienceUniversity degree (preferably from Engineering or Supply Chain and Logistics)
• Experienced in Inventory and Warehouse Management
• Ability to execute Manpower Management
• Familiar with ERP / WMS Systems and Microsoft OfficeExperiences in team management and embrace positive working attitude & teamworkResult & Detail oriented
• Good interpersonal and communication skillsGood in problem solving skills and decision making
• High sense of responsibility and urgency
