Hatchery Intern

Job Description Summary:

Aviagen Anadolu is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate for the position of Hatchery Intern for a 3-month Summer Internship program based at our Hatchery Operations in Ankara.
This internship is designed to provide structured exposure to hatchery production processes, biosecurity standards, quality control practices, and operational reporting within a high-standard poultry production environment. The intern will actively observe field operations and support documentation and monitoring activities under supervision.

• Observe and support daily hatchery operational workflows.
• Gain hands-on exposure to egg reception, storage, setting, and incubation processes.
• Support production data recording and assist in basic reporting activities.
• Observe hatchability monitoring, chick quality control, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in tracking stock and operational documentation.
• Support implementation and monitoring of biosecurity and hygiene standards.
• Participate in process observation studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Observe coordination between hatchery, breeder farms, quality, and technical teams.
• Comply fully with Occupational Health & Safety and biosecurity requirements.

Job Qualifications Required

Specific Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th year student in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or Agricultural Engineering
• Strong interest in poultry production and hatchery operations.
• Willingness to work actively in a production environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• English proficiency is a plus.
