Product Gamification & Growth Intern

Lucida AI is a fast-growing AI startup building a speech-based language practice app used by millions of learners globally. Backed by $6.7M in funding, we move fast, ship quickly, and focus obsessively on growth, retention, and daily habit formation.

We’re looking for a Product Gamification & Growth Intern who wants to work at the intersection of product, gamification, and growth metrics. Your mission will be to help design gamification systems that directly improve engagement, retention, and daily active usage.

What You’ll Do

• Design gamification mechanics (streaks, rewards, challenges, progression systems) to improve retention
• Support growth experiments focused on D1, D7, and D30 retention
• Analyze engagement data and identify opportunities to improve habit formation
• Work closely with the product and growth teams to launch rapid experiments
• Research top gamified apps and translate insights into product tests
