Software Engineering Internship

Metrekare is a new tech startup [1][2][3][4][5] aiming to disrupt real estate sector. We are looking for candidates to help us shape the future of real estate in Turkey.

What you’d do

Because we’re a small team, Metrekare engineers get to work on a variety of systems using an array of technologies:

• A backend REST API in Symfony backed by Mysql & Redis & Varnish that quickly and reliably delivers data to mobile, tablet, and web devices.


• A holy grail server-client MVC application built in Node.js & Backbone.js that provides an incredibly responsive user-experience


• Mass scale native Android & Iphone & Ipad apps


• Unit and integration tests that ensure everything works for millions of users, all the time.


• The opportinuty to work in different parts of our tech stack(backend,frontend,mobile,data mining etc.) according to your skills and choice. 

Required

• 3 personal characteristics. Being kind, humble and exteremely curious


• Are passionate about our products (Metrekare Web Android IPhone IPad)


• Flexible person with a great desire to innovate, learn and participate in a start-up that’s going to do great things.

A plus:

• Have built web applications in Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, Python, PHP, Java, or C#


• Familiarity with agile methodologies


• Experience with javascript frameworks
