Job Description - Manager - IT Governance & Quality Assurance

Job Description Job Purpose:
Manage and fully responsible for application governance and technology quality policies and procedures, and to establish solid technology quality management practices across RTA that improves technology systems and services effectiveness and efficiency. Provide Support and participate with the Director in planning, managing and overseeing the implementation of current & future department plans & projects.
Key Results Accountabilities:
Manages risk-based audits of existing and planned technology projects and systems and Identifies areas of risk and evaluates adequacy and effectiveness of RTA's approach to risk in use of technology to mitigate and reduce risk exposure
Oversees and measures the fulfilment of suppliers' quality related contractual obligations. Uses key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and challenge supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Takes responsibility for the control, update, and distribution of technology quality standards and policies and advises on the application of technology quality and sustainability management techniques.
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities to manage and implement technology quality assurance and Application Governance Framework (AGF) programs and projects.
Owns, maintains, and continuously improves the AGF policies, procedures, and standards & define governance improvement plans, targets, and key success factors.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a recognized university.
Skills:
7 years of working experience including at least 3 years in supervisory / leadership role
Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
