Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and resourceful Entry Level Accountant to join our team at DTE Energy in Dubai. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, payroll, and accounts receivable/payable. 2. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management. 3. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance. 4. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to financial reporting. 5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. 6. Communicate financial information to internal stakeholders. 7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met. 8. Assist with audits and other financial projects as needed. 9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred. 3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 4. Excellent communication skills. 5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. 8. CPA certification is a plus.
