Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

McKesson is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis, working remotely from home. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other reports - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes - Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Prepare and submit tax returns and other compliance documents - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met - Provide support during audits and assist with audit preparation - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification is a plus - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong negotiation skills and ability to think innovatively - Driven and motivated to succeed in a remote work environment
