About the job Senior Accountant (Temporary)

Our client is a prominent integrated solutions provider with over 30 years of market presence. They operate in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, and Kuwait, offering comprehensive ICT integration, consultancy, operation, managed services, and IT outsourcing solutions.

Location: Dubai
Start Date: Immediate
Visa Requirement: Golden Visa/Sponsor Visa Holders Required

Contract Duration: 4 months, extendable 

Responsibilities:
Month End Closing Activities and Reports:
Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Review reconciliations and schedules per closing calendar.
Prepare/review financial statements and management reports.
Review of Payments and Payroll:
Review supplier invoice accounting and payments.
Verify payroll and facilitate salary release.
Review expense claims and submission timelines.
Validate commission calculations.
Accounts Receivable (AR) and Bank Guarantees (BG) Follow-up:
Report exceptions and reduce average receivable days and follow up on BGs nearing expiry.
Monitoring Project & Service Financials, Invoicing:
Review project and service contract financials.
Ensure accurate revenue measurement and timely invoicing and minimize Work-in-Progress (WIP).
Monitoring Team Performance:
Review daily tasks of the finance team and ensure proper workforce allocation and workload distribution.
Budget Assistance:
Aid in budget preparation and scheduling and aim for the completion of the final budget annually.
Handle external and internal audit processes.

Requirements :

• Experience: 13 years in accounting, preferably in the IT industry.
• Educational Qualification: Masters degree in finance/accounting.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials v12 (ERP based having GL, AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Inventory, Payroll, Project management, Service contract management etc)
    

    Orion GL (ERP), Sea Connect (ERP), FinAcc and Tally 6.3

• Multinational or large-sized company experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
