Senior Director (Government Communications)

Our client is a strategic communications agency, looking for an experienced Senior Director with significant experience in corporate communications and government advisory.

This agency is searching for an experienced, dynamic individual who can provide world class strategic counsel and tactical advice, based on a detailed knowledge of the client, market and industry.

A background in government communications will be a great help to the candidate succeeding in this role. As a Senior Director, the successful candidate will have significant experience as a Senior Director, Director, Associate Director from an agency, or in-house with a multinational company, or currently working in government.

Experience and knowledge of the KSA market would be very useful but not essential.

Guide Salary: AED46K+

Key Responsibilities

• Lead teams and act as a driver on all accounts, setting the standard for the team
• 12+ years experience advising governments in communications
• Confident in providing high-calibre client counsel with team support, on brief and to budget
• An excellent writer, strong presenter and able to deliver quality work at speed under pressure
• Make sure that the highest level of delivery is provided
• Mentor and teach more junior team members
• Fantastic media relations skills, and network
• Ability to advise capably on a wide range of accounts across Corporate Communications (reputation management, crisis comms etc)
• Handle a wide range of contracts (business and key trade press) in media handling
• Enjoy working on new business leads and take a leading responsibility in this area
