Job Description - Academic Advisor - Higher Education

Overview Build the future! With this opportunity, McGraw Hill offers you to work with internal and external customers to build strategies, tools, and tactics that sets-up and support engagement roadmaps with key customers, align with teaching and learning policies in respective Higher Education Institutions and enable academic teams to constructively align curriculum and teaching pedagogies to teaching technologies and tools, leading to effective learning and student engagement. What is this role about To partner with academic leadership at Higher Education Institution's, ensure alignment and support teaching and learning strategies. The incumbent will be working with sales teams, marketing, and customer success to support sustainable financial growth and repositioning McGraw Hill as a teaching partner. A typical day might include:
Build an academic engagement model for partner higher education institutions
Work closely with Faculty SMES and Academic leadership to co-create/co-curate syllabus to best align with available technology/content and design and build a suite of courses/solutions to support constructive alignment of courses.
Provide academic advisory services to support the administration and management of courses using McGraw Hill digital solutions
Following an ID framework of course design, monitor the quality of product usage and user engagement, and proactively develop solutions to improve engagement indicators
Align sales and customer success teams to plan engagement activities for academic institutions
Work within a dotted line management structure in consultation with the MEASAF Regional Sales Director to support strategic initiative
We are looking for someone with:
Excellent academic/pedagogical experience. Preferably a PhD holder with a focus on digital learning and/or teaching and learning policies
Experience working with Middle East Asia Higher Education institutions
Prior experience in pedagogically aligned digital solutions
An excellent command of written and spoken English is essential: Arabic is desirable
Open to travel to relevant territories in UAE
