Architect-UAE National

As an Architectural Assistant you will assist our architecture team in various stages of project development from concept design to construction documentation. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the design of diverse architectural projects and gain valuable experience in the field. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in Design Development: Collaborate with architects and designers to develop architectural concepts sketches and renderings for residential commercial and institutional projects. Contribute ideas for space planning building form and materiality that respond to client requirements and project objectives.

Drafting and Model Making: Create architectural drawings plans sections and details using drafting software such as AutoCAD Revit or SketchUp. Build physical models and digital 3D models to visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.

Research and Documentation: Conduct research on zoning regulations building codes and technical specifications relevant to project sites and typologies. Assist in preparing project documentation including reports presentations and construction drawings to support project development and approvals.

Construction Administration Support: Aid in coordinating with consultants contractors and vendors during the construction phase of projects. Assist in reviewing shop drawings conducting site visits and addressing constructionrelated issues to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.

Client Communication and Presentation: Participate in client meetings presentations and design reviews to present project proposals and gather feedback. Prepare presentation materials visualizations and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Sustainability Integration: Collaborate with the sustainability team to integrate sustainable design principles and strategies into architectural projects. Explore opportunities for energy efficiency passive design and material selection to enhance environmental performance and occupant comfort.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in architecture or related field.

12 years of experience in architectural design or related roles.

Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong design skills creativity and ability to generate and develop architectural concepts.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate ideas and engage stakeholders effectively.

Knowledge of building codes regulations and construction practices.

Passion for sustainable design and interest in exploring innovative solutions for environmental performance.
