Job Description - Assistant Bookkeeper

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents on a regular basis.
  4. Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  5. Help with payroll processing and related tax filings.
  6. Support the Senior Bookkeeper or Finance Manager in conducting audits and resolving discrepancies.
  7. Assist with administrative tasks related to the finance department, including filing, organizing documents, and responding to inquiries.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  9. Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
