Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Accountant will supervise the implementation of the monthly accounting closing processes, perform and oversee general accounting operations with the main objective of delivering the highest standards of accounting in a timely manner.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Accountant will supervise the implementation of the monthly accounting closing processes, perform and oversee general accounting operations with the main objective of delivering the highest standards of accounting in a timely manner.

The Chief Accountant will have the following responsibilities :

• Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly closings under UAE GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop and maintain accounting Policies & Procedures and internal controls.
• Participate in the development of accounting module in CTRM System.
• Manage tax reporting, VAT Returns and reports to local Authorities.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and liaise with the representative offices.
• Ensure timely provision of information for Internal stakeholders and external audits in the area of responsibility.
• Team management.
• University degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience, preferably in the similar role. Experience in audit company is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE GAAP.
• Recognised professional qualification in accounting.
• Experience in commodity trading is preferred, Exposure to soft commodities trading is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS office
• Experience in CTRM and ERPs.
• Proficient in English and Russian.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details.
