Job Summary:

The CEO will spearhead the company’s strategic direction, operational execution, and expansion into the UAE market, focusing on establishing and growing a pioneering grocery retail concept centered around health, sustainability, and consumer engagement. This role demands a visionary leader with a robust background in retail management, market entry strategies, and a deep understanding of the UAE's multicultural consumer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the JV's strategic vision in alignment with both parent companies' goals, ensuring successful market entry and sustainable growth in the UAE.
• Operations Management: Oversee the JV's daily operations, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Financial Oversight: Direct the financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning, to ensure the JV's financial health and long-term profitability.
• Market Expansion: Lead market analysis and entry strategies, identifying opportunities for expansion and overseeing the development of new store locations.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team to achieve the JV's objectives, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Partnership and Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, government entities, and business partners, to support the JV's objectives and compliance with local regulations.
• Brand and Marketing Strategy: Oversee the development and execution of a compelling brand and marketing strategy that resonates with the UAE's diverse consumer base and drives customer engagement and loyalty.
• Product and Supply Chain Excellence: Ensure a meticulously curated product assortment and an efficient supply chain, aligning with the JV's focus on quality, health, and sustainability.
• Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with all local laws and regulations, proactively managing risks and safeguarding the JV's reputation and operational continuity.
• Performance Measurement: Implement robust performance metrics to monitor and report on the JV's progress against strategic goals, making data-driven decisions to steer the business toward success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CEO or in a similar senior leadership role within the retail sector, preferably with experience in the grocery or FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of the UAE market, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing market entry and expansion strategies.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred

Working Conditions:

The CEO will be based in Dubai, UAE, with frequent travel required both within the UAE, GCC, and potentially to parent companies' headquarters.

This position may require extended hours to accommodate different time zones and critical project phases.
