The Commercial Leasing Manager

The Commercial Leasing Manager will be instrumental in driving the success of our client's properties by attracting and retaining top-tier tenants. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire leasing process, from marketing available units to negotiating lease agreements. Moreover, collaboration with the property management team will be essential to maintain properties in optimal condition and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants for properties.
  2. Managing and overseeing all rental, sales, and leasing operations.
  3. Negotiating lease agreements, renewal terms, and rental rates with prospective and existing tenants.
  4. Managing tenant relations and ensuring tenant satisfaction by handling any concerns or issues.
  5. Developing and managing budgets to ensure proper tracking and reporting on financial performance, analyzing trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
  6. Monitoring budget variances , identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance and maximize returns on investment.
  7. Overseeing procurement activities , ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
  8. Coordinating with legal and property management entities to address lease disputes, tenant defaults, and eviction proceedings when necessary.
  9. Implementing measures to prevent claims and disputes through effective contract management and communication processes.
  10. Communicating regularly with property owners, investors, and management to provide updates on leasing activities, financial performance, and market trends.
  11. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  12. Maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  13. Defining and promoting departmental goals, KPIs, and performance standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience with a reputable commercial property management company. Proven track record of success in leasing and managing commercial properties with esteemed clients. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, using MS Office or specialized real estate software.
