We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director Of Rooms to join our prestigious team at one of the top 5-star luxury hotels in the United Arab Emirates.
As a Director Of Rooms, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Rooms Division of the Hotel. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, maximizes room revenue, and maintains the highest standards of service, and efficiency.

This position directly reports to the Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations of the front office, housekeeping, concierge, and guest services.
- Ensure all guest services are delivered at the highest standards.
2. Guest Experience:
- Implement and maintain guest service standards to provide a seamless and memorable guest experience.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
3. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage the Rooms Division team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
4. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the Rooms Division budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor room revenue, occupancy rates, and average daily rates (ADR), and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance meet the hotel’s high standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address and rectify any issues promptly.
6. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, increase room sales, and improve departmental efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices to maintain the competitive edge.
7. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all local, state, and federal regulations related to hotel operations.
8. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and food and beverage, to coordinate activities and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to the development of the hotel’s overall strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with a focus on Rooms Division in a luxury hotel setting.
- One of the European Language proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
