Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee drilling operations to ensure safe and efficient well construction.
• Manage drilling crew and contractors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor drilling parameters and make real-time decisions to optimize drilling performance.
• Participate in well planning and design processes, including casing design and bit selection.
• Conduct regular inspections of drilling equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols on the drilling rig.
• Prepare drilling reports and documentation for management and regulatory agencies.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to improve drilling operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in drilling operations
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, tools, and equipment
• Previous experience supervising drilling crews or teams
• Valid certifications in well control and drilling safety procedures
