Job Description

Our 2024 Graduate Program presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Business Analyst (UAE National) to join our Program Cost Consultancy (PCC) team in Dubai. As a Graduate Business Analyst at AECOM, you will learn how to provide accurate and up-to-date market intelligence and advice on capital projects, contributing to our market intelligence outputs and enhancing our internal data-driven capabilities.

• Collate cost rate libraries to support project cost estimation.
• Help senior professionals conduct bespoke statistical analyses based on client and AECOM data to identify trends and insights.
• Learn about inflation and indexation studies to inform project budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and manage databases for cost, carbon, and asset data to support business decision-making.
• Monitor and track issues impacting the construction market in the built environment and infrastructure sectors.
• Drive digital data collection initiatives internally and externally.
• Expand and maintain a network of external sources to gather market opinions and information on pricing and industry issues.
• Lead coordination and collaboration with colleagues to produce the AECOM Middle East Handbook.
• Produce quarterly market forecasts and indices for tender price inflation in both built environment and infrastructure sectors.
• Analyze information to identify market trends and changes, proactively reporting findings through Thought Leadership articles.
• Review trends in procurement routes and strategy to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with other end markets and geographies within AECOM to share insights and best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related from an accredited University
2. Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
3. Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
4. As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.

Desirable Criteria

1. Methodical approach to problem solving
2. Effective time & task management and leadership skills
3. Excellent organization and verbal communication skills are essential
4. Ability to use initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
5. Advanced in Microsoft Office
6. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail, must be able to demonstrate accurate report writing
