About the job HR Operations Specialist (Temporary)
Our client, based in Belgium and operating globally across 100+ countries, specializes in providing integrated solutions to airports and airlines. They are seeking an HR Operations Specialist for the Middle East region on a 7-month temporary basis . Individuals with Golden Visa/Sponsor Visa are encouraged to apply, especially those available immediately.
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations to enhance the overall employee experience. Acting as a liaison between employees and various departments such as Finance and HR Business Partners, your responsibilities will encompass a range of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries, fostering a positive employee experience.
- Create and coordinate local internal communications to support HR initiatives.
- Participate in team projects and handle ad-hoc requests efficiently.
- Administer employee documentation throughout their lifecycle, including contracts, leave management, and visa checks.
- Troubleshoot employee issues, providing recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain accurate employee data in compliance with GDPR regulations across various systems.
- Manage the relationship with payroll and insurance providers, overseeing payroll processes and renewals.
- Handle day-to-day operations related to payroll, labor law, benefits, and other HR matters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational excellence, and automation.
- Offer regional expertise and support HR Director in transactional tasks.
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders by analyzing and summarizing data.
- Ensure HR SharePoint pages are updated for employee access.
- Assist in HR system-related projects, including requirements gathering and testing enhancements.
- Support local recruitment efforts, including job advertisements and engagement with local agents.
- Coordinate and organize local training requests and support in local events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of operational HR experience at a regional level.
- Proficiency in labor law, payroll, and administrative HR tasks such as contracts and salaries.
- Familiarity with HR management practices, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management , compensation, and benefits.
IT Skills:
- Proficiency in Office 365 and SuccessFactors.
