IT Manager Job Description :

Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for the overall management of the company's information technology (IT) systems and infrastructure. This includes planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining all IT systems and ensuring that they are secure and reliable. The IT Manager also oversees the IT staff and ensures that they are meeting the needs of the company.

Responsibilities:

· Design and implement disaster recovery plans. This includes ensuring that the company has a plan in place to recover from a major IT outage or disaster.

· Manage IT projects. This includes overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of major IT projects.

· Work with vendors and partners. This includes managing relationships with vendors and partners who provide IT services to the company.

· Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats. This includes monitoring security news and trends and implementing security measures to protect the company's IT systems.

· Advocate for the use of technology to improve the company's business processes. This includes identifying opportunities to use technology to improve efficiency and productivity.

· Plan, design, implement, and maintain all IT systems and infrastructure.

· Ensure that IT systems are secure and reliable.

· Oversee the IT staff and ensure that they are meeting the needs of the company.

· Develop and execute the IT budget.

· Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.

· Represent the IT department to the rest of the company.

· Work with other departments to ensure that IT systems are aligned with the company's business goals.

· Resolve IT problems and incidents in a timely and efficient manner.

· Maintain compliance with all IT regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in IT management.

· Certifications in IT-related fields. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).

· Knowledge of industry best practices including the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

· Strong technical skills in network administration, systems administration, and software development.

· Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
