Operation Officer (Mandarin speaker)

Role: Operation Officer (Mandarin Speaker)

Work Environment: On-site in Dubai, UAE office.

Reports to: Head of Operations

Working schedule: From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The employee is given a 2-hour flexibility window to choose their start and end times of the working day.

Job Purpose:

To be actively involved in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of the platform to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. This includes monitoring trading activity, managing risk, coordinating with different departments, and implementing operational strategies to optimize performance and ensuring that project objectives align with the organization's goals. This includes scheduling meetings, maintaining operation documentation, monitoring project progress, and facilitating communication between team members, management, and service providers.

Responsible for:

1. Monitoring downtime, outages, or performance issues.
2. Monitoring cryptocurrency transactions on the exchange to detect suspicious activities, fraud, or market manipulation.
3. Tracking operational issues and escalating them to the appropriate department when necessary.
4. Monitoring operation progress and timelines, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
5. Ensuring all operational documentation is organized and up to date.
6. Monitoring and managing the exchange's financial operations, including fund transfers, withdrawals, and deposits.
7. Keeping an eye on market trends and competitor exchanges to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
8. Preparing regular reports for the team and management.
9. Identifying areas for improvement in exchange operations, whether in terms of technology, processes, or customer experience.
10. Continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual Candidate fluent English-Mandarin speaking is essential for this role.
• A background in financial operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience of minimum 3 years in operations or a similar role in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the crypto industry.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of crypto and blockchain technology is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 1-5 years familiarity with trading platforms, financial software, and blockchain technology (individual or business).
