Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to banking operations, processes, and systems.
2. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and data to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation.
3. Define and document functional specifications, user stories, and use cases for new banking products, features, and enhancements.
4. Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to elicit requirements, discuss solutions, and obtain feedback.
5. Develop and maintain comprehensive business process models, flowcharts, and diagrams to visualize business requirements and solutions.
6. Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment between business and IT teams.
7. Perform impact analysis and risk assessment to evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes on existing systems, processes, and operations.
8. Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of banking software solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and quality standards.
9. Support project management activities including project planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication.
10. Provide ongoing support and training to end users on banking systems, processes, and tools.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 9 years of experience as a business analyst and 3+ years in the banking or financial services industry.
3. Solid understanding of banking products, services, operations, and regulatory requirements.
4. Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and processes.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
8. Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
