Job Description - Senior Vice President

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Development at M42 Health will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our digital health products. This executive leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development initiatives, forging key partnerships, and leading the commercialization efforts to expand our market presence globally.


Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for digital health products.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities in the digital health and health tech sectors, including potential partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions.
  • Drive the global commercialization strategy for digital health products, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and technological advancements.

Market Analysis and Expansion

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the digital health industry.
  • Expand M42 Health’s market presence by entering new regions and segments, leveraging both direct and indirect sales channels, and focusing on telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and health data analytics.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to different regions and customer segments, with a strong emphasis on digital health solutions.

Partnerships and Alliances

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the digital health ecosystem, including healthcare providers, technology partners, regulatory bodies, and investors.
  • Negotiate and finalize strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance M42 Health’s market position and product offerings in the digital health space.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and execution of partnerships, focusing on interoperability and seamless user experience.

Sales Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead and mentor the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous professional growth with a focus on digital health sales expertise.
  • Set clear performance metrics and targets for the team, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure the successful commercialization of digital health products.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and effective progression through the sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

Product Commercialization

  • Drive the commercialization process for digital health products, from concept to market launch, ensuring products meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure products align with industry standards and customer expectations in the digital health sector.
  • Develop pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and promotional plans to maximize product uptake and market penetration.

Technology and Innovation

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in digital health technology, including AI, machine learning, wearable devices, and mobile health applications.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and incorporate emerging technologies into M42 Health’s product offerings.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the business development team, encouraging creative solutions to complex problems.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models related to business development activities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure all business development initiatives are cost-effective and deliver measurable ROI.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the digital health or healthcare technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully commercializing digital health products and achieving growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of global healthcare markets, regulations, and industry trends, particularly in digital health.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
