Tesla Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tesla Mechanic to join our XA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Tesla vehicles to ensure they operate at peak performance. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for electric vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Repair and replace vehicle components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and electronic control units.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in Tesla vehicles.
• Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on Tesla vehicles.
• Replace or repair faulty components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and other electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably specializing in electric vehicles or Tesla vehicles specifically.
• ASE certification or Tesla-specific certification is a plus.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
