Industrial - Business Development Manager

GlobalData/MEED is the fastest growing Business Intelligence company on the London Stock Exchange and the Industrial division continues to be one of it’s key growth engines! As a result we are now looking for a Business Development Manager- Industrial for our Dubai Business Intelligence sales team.
The Business Development Manager will join our high performing New Business sales team, selling subscription services to the full portfolio of GlobalData’s and MEED’s two Intelligence Center (IC) online platforms to Construction and Industrial firms.
The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Head of New Business, to identify, plan, target and engage the best business opportunities in the sector, to develop into new business and cross sell clients that will drive the growth of this dynamic division.
You will be responsible for the full sales and relationship life cycle including:
This is a 100% new business role and you will need to demonstrate a successful track record of new business B2B sales. Experience selling either Business Intelligence or to the Management Consulting or Indusctrial sector is preferred but not a must. You will be expected to be highly motivated, articulate, have strong business acumen to interpret complex data into commercial value to different types of business personas and persistent enough to generate pipeline deals to achieve your monthly and quarterly sales targets, whilst managing your prospecting activity to maintain robust sales pipelines.
You will be provided with a world class sales training program, ongoing sales coaching, product training, and clearly defined territory to join the existing hybrid sales team, based in our London Blackfriars office at least 4 days per week and 1 days WFH. We have a fast paced, high energy, highly motivated, and high achieving sales floor who are rewarded with great commission plans and incentives.
