ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR/ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a skilled Electric Inspector/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, inspection, and project management. As an Electric Inspector/Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems' safety, compliance, and performance in various projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conducting electrical inspections, evaluations, and audits to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
2. Reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements.
3. Performing site visits, inspections, and testing of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
4. Identifying and resolving electrical issues, discrepancies, and non-conformities during construction and commissioning phases.
5. Providing technical guidance, recommendations, and solutions to project teams and clients regarding electrical systems.
6. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
7. Conducting risk assessments and safety inspections for electrical installations and equipment.
8. Developing and maintaining documentation, reports, and records related to electrical inspections and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must be Immediately available and based in UAE.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., PE) is a plus.
5-7 years of experience as an Electric Inspector/Engineer, preferably in a design consultancy or engineering firm.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEC), and regulatory requirements.
Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and testing equipment.
Familiarity with building electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical practices is desirable.
