Environmental Technician

Description: Our client is a very well established and actively growing environmental consulting firm. We are actively hiring Midlothian, VA for an Environmental Technician. This is a wide ranging role with responsibilities below.

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Routine maintenance and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets)
• Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment.
• Analyze environmental legislation and regulations and determine impact on client activities.
• Meet client deadlines.
• Actively develop your own career growth
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• HAZWOPER OSHA 40
• Construction experience/knowledge
• Industrial Hygiene (petroleum, asbestos, mold)
• Mechanical aptitude - diagnosis and fix something mentality
