Key Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the layout, placement, and spacing of steel reinforcement bars. Measure, cut, bend, and shape rebar according to project requirements using manual or power tools. Install and secure rebar cages, mesh, and other reinforcement materials within concrete forms using tying wire, clips, or other fastening methods. Ensure accurate alignment, spacing, and elevation of rebar to meet structural design and safety standards. Verify dimensions, angles, and positions of rebar using measuring instruments such as tape measures, levels, and plumb bobs. Coordinate with other construction trades and personnel to ensure timely completion of projects. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including the proper handling and storage of materials and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the removal of debris and waste materials.
