Job Description - Vice President, Administration, Facilities for University

A recruiter has an opening for Vice President, Administration, Facilities for University !! Experience : 15+ years – UAE Experience is Must Location : Abu Dhabi Required Qualifications:
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the university's strategy, as well as annual business plans.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the university's policies and procedures, adhering to the overall business objectives of the university.
  • Contribute to the development and management of the university's budget.
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of the Division's strategy, as well as annual business plans.
  • Lead the formulation of the Division's policies and procedures, adhering to the overall business objectives of the university, ensuring they promote leading practices and excellence.
  • Lead the development and management of the Division's budget and ensure the appropriate budgetary targets are met.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Advice top management on the development, maintenance, sustainability of the University's facilities and capital plans, ensuring sufficient capacity to meet enrolled student numbers and growth plans
  • Oversee the implementation of the Administration, Facilities Management
  • Develop and implement an efficient framework / plan to ensure the upkeep and repair of the University's facilities and equipment
  • Manage the planning and coordination of major new construction or renovation of campus buildings, facilities, landscapes and other campus expansions and improvements, including the renovation and remodeling of existing structures/buildings.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to construction contractors for large capital expansion and facility improvement projects
  • Contribute to the development of emergency mitigation and business continuity action plans.
  • Oversee the provisioning of general services related to the University's security, office help, cleaning, waste management and landscaping services with outsourced companies.

  • Ensure effective and efficient space planning and allocation for meeting student / staff / faculty needs and requirements.
  • Maintain the interest of the University through ensuring high quality services provided through subcontractors of general services (security, catering, maintenance, etc.) and report the same to top management.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and applicable national and international standards in all areas of facilities
  • Oversee the design and implementation of the University's approved sustainability initiatives.
