Job Description

We are currently looking for a Digital Merchandiser who is responsible to drive product sales, with a focus on onsite search, sorting rules, product placement, and page/product content.

  1. Assure of timely and accurate site content. Site content includes product images, product descriptions, digital shopping tools, and promotions.
  2. Partner with Planning, Photo, Product writing, and Digital Marketing teams to orchestrate and support the successful launch of new assortments from product pass off to the photocycle to UAT and finally web launch.
  3. Maintain product lifecycle reports to identify bottlenecks in the time-to-site process.
  4. Assure products can easily be found by customers through optimization of taxonomy, filters, internal search, and product placement.
  5. Analyze site metrics and review competitors to assure that site reflects optimal digital merchandising practices.
  6. Review site daily to assure accuracy of product assortments, content marketing, and promotions.
  7. Track inventory levels for items in content marketing. Partner with Planners to forecast demand.
  8. Identify online sales opportunities based on stock levels and conversion.
  9. Prepare Ad Hoc reports as needed to support Digital Merchandising and Digital Trading Managers.
  10. Look at ways to increase performance against KPIs.
  11. Develop effective and collaborative working relationships within the team.
  12. Run weekly merchandising analysis and share with the commercial team.
  13. Support the Digital Merchandising manager in delivering improved product availability to the customer- the right stock at the right time.
  14. Work flexibly across projects taking ownership of specified deliverables in support of the overall merchandising strategy ensuring milestones are met on time and to specified standards.
  15. Work on trend reports and analysis and present valuable recommendations and insights.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in a digital merchandising role.
  • Experience in using data to provide understandable insight and recommendations.
  • Understanding KPIs that deliver success within an online retail organization and their impact on a merchandising team.
  • Expert knowledge of luxury fashion brands and products.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional attitude and a real pride in the quality of work.
  • Problem solver with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
