Job Description - Director Partnerships Development

Pulse iD is a fintech with a strong Asia Pacific presence and successful recent expansion into the Middle East and Africa. We provide an end to end AI-powered Loyalty and Rewards platform that enables targeting and personalisation through merchant-funded rewards, card-linked offers and cards benefits. While our primary target clients are Financial Institutions, fintechs and telcos, we also service other Enterprises, SMEs and Merchants. Pulse iD is continuously striving to provide a seamless Customer Engagement solution that enhances our clients' experience while supercharging their business growth.

What are we looking for?

Following success in the UAE and interest across the MENA region, we are looking for a seasoned Partnership Development Director with strong business acumen and Loyalty or Fintech platform sales background to drive the commercial growth of Pulse iD product offerings. Your primary responsibilities include bringing in new commercial opportunities, developing existing accounts, creating partnerships and strengthening the market presence of Pulse iD across the MENA region.

You should be a confident hunter, opening doors to new opportunities and independently growing your sales pipeline. It would be a strong advantage if you are proactive, result-oriented and well connected in the industry.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships in the financial services industry, building a sales pipeline and growing revenue.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at financial institutions and other relevant companies.
  • Structure deals, build relationships, lead strategic discussions, and close commercial deals.
  • Analyse and identify future potential growth opportunities for new revenue streams.
  • Contribute to development of sales plans and partnership programs for optimal performance and growth.
  • Enhance the business value and revenue streams from existing key partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, etc.) to ensure successful partnership implementation and ongoing management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Participation in Trade Shows and Events.

What do you need to have?

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or partnerships, with a focus on the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving growth.
  • Skill in strategic planning, business partnering, presentation, business modelling, and data analysis
  • FinTech (loyalty and payment industry) knowledge and experience is needed
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS platforms is a must.
  • Deep understanding of the banking and payment domain, with a network of relevant industry contacts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Willingness to work remotely and across different time zones.
  • Able to Travel freely in the MENA region.
  • You should be proficient in both Arabic and English
