BACKGROUND: The Marketing Development Team consisting of Business Development Representatives (BDR) is responsible for creating pipeline for Sales. Our BDRs play an important part in driving revenue by helping to set meetings and qualify leads into opportunities. This position works closely with Sales and Marketing to help create interest for our new product offerings and services.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development creates the great first impression to potential customers who are committed to enhancing a better customer experience for their own brand. You will proactively identify, contact, and cultivate new business opportunities using a combination of cold calling, emailing, and social channels.
- Be able to quickly build rapport with prospects while creating interest in Concentrix services
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Management to develop sales plays
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects in various C-level positions
- Identify the needs and challenges of a prospective customer
- Accountable to goals of qualified meetings, opportunities and revenue
- Learn industry and funding signals and incorporate business trends in your prospect outreach
- Willingness to be creative and try new prospecting strategies to achieve your goals
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree preferred
- An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity and change, and a passion for helping to bring on new customers
- Sales experience in a B2B environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills including writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling preferred
- Strong marketing, demand generation or sales experience preferred. Understanding of sales tools including Salesforce CRM, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, a plus
