Job Description:
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at Ashland, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and taking proactive steps to anticipate and prevent potential problems.
Responsibilities: - Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner - Providing product information and assistance with placing orders - Handling customer complaints and escalations with empathy and patience - Collaborating with other departments to address customer needs and improve overall service - Following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement - Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements: - 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field - Energetic and motivated personality traits - Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different communication channels - Strategic planning and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team - Proficiency in using CRM software and other customer service tools - Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
